PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect many printing process parameters to be used to control a printing process of an electrophotographic printer by a single sensor. SOLUTION: A sensor detects a seam of a photoreceptor belt 10 so that a latent image is not formed on the seam of a belt. The sensor 50 detects the toner concentration to be used to control a toner daily use device, a photoreceptor electrifier, a developer bias device, an image exposing device and a picture processing device. The sensor 50 detects an adjusting mark to be used to adjust plural images. The sensor 50 detects the existence of the copy paper sheet in a paper sheet passage to be used to indicate the timing and a paper jam. The sensor 50 detects a kind of copy paper sheet 38 to be used to control fixing processing time. In order to measure these all parameters, the sensor 50 is arranged in a specific position to detect these printing parameters to a photoreceptor along the paper sheet passage of a printer. |
