PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control method for an image forming device in which paper is not wasted by using paper having a different direction or a different color or paper with a tab as partition paper and making it function as a back cover or paper for chaptering. SOLUTION: This method is provided with an image forming device successively forming images on plural sheets of paper, plural paper trays 11 to 13, a storage means storing at least the paper size/paper direction of the paper put in the paper tray, and a detection means detecting the finish of one set of image forming operation. The finish of one set of image forming operation is detected, and the paper having the same size as the paper used till then and having the different direction from that is selected from the trays 11 to 13 so as to be ejected as the partition paper in a state where it is blank. |
