摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rated current of a semiconductor switching element by providing a plurality of armature windings which are separately wound at every phase of a DC brushless motor, a plurality of sets of magnetic pole position sensors for rotor, and a plurality of sets of driving circuits respectively composed of energization control sections which control the armature windings and output control sections. SOLUTION: A DC brushless motor 10 is constituted of two sets of three-layer armature windings 11 and 12, a rotor 3 composed of a pair of N and S poles, and two sets of magnetic pole position sensors 13 and 14 which have three Hall elements each positioned in corresponding to, for example, each phase of the windings 11 and 12. The driving circuits 5a and 5b driving the motor 10 are respectively constituted of energization control sections 6 which select the armature winding to be energized and their polarities from the output of the Hall elements of the sensors 13 and 14 and from a speed command value and output control sections 7 which supply electric power to the armature windings selected from the outputs of the control sections 6. Therefore, the occurrence of nonconformity caused by the turning on/off timing of a semiconductor switching element can be eliminated.
