A method of releasing hydrogen peroxide vapor from a solid hydrogen peroxide complex capable of releasing the hydrogen peroxide vapor so as to sterilize an object is described. The solid hydrogen peroxide complex is sealed within a gas permeable material. The solid hydrogen peroxide complex is heated to thereby release the hydrogen peroxide vapor through the gas permeable material. The object is contacted with the vapor. |
