PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mass productivity of a compact laminated directive coupler by laminating together the 1st to 3rd dielectric layers including a pair of microstrip line electrodes, a ground electrode and a secondary coupling strip electrode respectively and placing the secondary coupling strip electrode opposite to a prescribed part of a pair of microstrip line electrodes. SOLUTION: The coupler consists of a dielectric layer 1 having a pair of microstrip line electrodes 10 and 11 formed on its surface, a dielectric layer 2 having a ground electrode 12 formed on its surface, a dielectric layer 3 having a secondary coupling strip electrode 13 formed on its surface, the intermediate dielectric layers 4 and 5, and a protection dielectric layer 6. The electrode 13 is placed at the center part of the layer 3 and opposite to the 1/4 wavelength parts 10a and 11a of the electrodes 10 and 11 to secure the distributted connection (secondary connection). The layers 1 to 6 are laminated together to include the electrodes 10 to 13 and also to place the layer 4 between layers 1 and 2 and the layer 5 between layers 1 and 3 respectively. Then plural external electrodes are provided on the side face of such a lamination structure of layers 1 to 6. |
