<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disturbance onto an moving image caused by three dimensional YC separation from being increased when a color signal level is especially small. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with a selector 16 receiving a still color signal (b) obtained by applying three-dimension YC separation to a composite video signal and a moving color signal (a) obtained by applying two- dimension YC separation to the composite video signal and selecting either of them and providing the output of the selected signal. The selector 16 provides an output of the moving color signal (a) when a motion detection circuit 13 judges the composite video signal to be a moving image and the output of the still image signal (b) when the motion detection circuit 13 judges the composite video signal to be a still image. Furthermore, when a color signal level being the output of a color level detection circuit 14 detecting the level of the moving color signal (a) is judged to be a prescribed level or below, the selector 16 outputs the moving color signal (a) regardless of the decision result of the motion detection circuit 13.</p> |
