A self-rolling ball is disclosed which can rolls to move forward, backward, left, and right by a remote controller. The self-rolling ball comprises a hollow ball which is divided into two portions 11 and 12. A circular guide 13 extended vertically and a linear guide 14 extended horizontally are formed in the two portions 11 and 12, respectively. The two portions 11 and 12 are provided, respectively, with circular and linear moving members 20 and 30 that have linear motors 22 and 32, toothed wheels 13a and 14b, and guide rollers 23 and 27, respectively. For forward and backward movement, the circular moving member 20 moves along the circular guide with the linear moving member 30 being at the center of the ball. For forward, backward, left, and right movement, the circular moving member 20 moves along the circular guide with the linear moving member 30 moving along the linear guide.
