<p>An early strength-enhancing admixture and cement composition is disclosed. The admixtures incorporate strength-enhancing components selected from the group consisting of: a) a nitrogenous compound of formula (I) wherein R1= R5A; R2= R5A, R5OH, -OR6, -R6, -H, or Z; R3= R5A, R5OH, -OR6, -R6, -H, or Z; A= -COOH or -SO3H (or salts thereof); Z= (1); R4= an alkylene linking group; R5= C1-C10 alkylene; R6= C1-C10 alkyl; and at least one of R2 or R3 is R5A; and b) a nitrogenous compound of formula (II) wherein R7= R5OH; R8= R5, -R5OH; R9= -H, R5OH.</p> |
