STERILIZED SUGAR MAIZE

The product is used in the canning industry for the manufacture of ready-to-use foods. It can also be included in other food products as an additive having high biological value. It is rich in sugars, proteins, mineral salts and vitamins and by its energy value it is twice as better as the sterilized peas. Due to its valuable flavour and nutritive qualities and high biological value the sugar maize is excellent food for children and sick people. Its prophylactic and therapeutical effect against atherosclerosis, ulcers and gastritis has been established. The product contains the following components, in %: grains of yellow-coloured hybrid varieties of sugar maize 65, water 35, sugar (in invert form) no less than 2 and salt no more than 0.6./!
