<p>Closure caps with warranty strips (3) are used as a visible indication to everyone that a container has not been opened. The warranty strip is intended to exclude, as far as possible, the possibility of such a container being opened unnoticed. The invention calls for an additional security ring so that the warranty strip (3) cannot be stretched out and pulled undamaged over the bulge round the container mouth. This security ring (7) is located coaxial to the actual warranty ring (3). It is joined to the warranty ring and surrounds primarily the lower part (5) of the warranty ring. Access to the actual warranty ring (3) is thus made significantly more difficult. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the security ring has weak zones (10) which will tear when the ring is tampered with so that any such tampering becomes clearly visible.</p> |
