The worm screw is fitted onto the hub, and by means of an internal tie rod the hub and screw are screwed together. Through the hub, the axial support disc is loaded against the load-carrying radial bearing of the drive axle with a defined tension. A disc of MoS2 sintered bronze is used as the self-lubricating axial bearing, and a specially pretensioned axial face seal is used to seal it.
