<p>N-[(Fluoroalkoxy)phenoxyalkyl]benzamide compounds represented by general formula (1); and agricultural and horticultural pesticides containing these compounds as the active ingredient which are useful as a nematicide, miticide, insecticide, etc., wherein R?1 and R3¿ may be either the same or different and each represents hydrogen, halogeno, C¿1-4? alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, C1-4 haloalkyl, C1-4 haloalkoxy, cyano, nitro or hydroxy; R?2¿ represents hydrogen, halogeno, C¿1-4? alkyl or C1-4 alkoxy; A represents oxygen or sulfur; x is an integer of from 1 to 4; y is an integer of from 0 to 6; z is an integer of from 2 to 9; and m is an integer of from 0 to 2, provided that 2x + 1 = y + z + m.</p> |
