The support is produced from an earlier in-works-made thin-walled steel concrete tube (20) of centrifuged concrete and a later filling of the inner space (26) and the connecting areas with on-site concrete (30). The steel concrete tube has a connecting reinforcement (24) with free ends, extending into the free space and/or out of the face side. This connecting reinforcement extends preferably axially over the end of the steel concrete tube. The steel concrete tube has in its inner space a freely extending compound reinforcement, which can run ring-shaped or longitudinally, and preferably has no free ends. The reinforcement (24,34) may be located in an area which does not exceed first and second limits.
