The ledge is used for stylish furnishing of residential and public interiors. It has different rounded or angular configurations. Its unified design ensures uniform configuration of all its components and is applicable for all types of curtain rod ledges for long, medium long and short curtains. The ledge includes machined revolving and stationary parts - two supports (1) and a horizontal rod (5) resting on them, on the section between the supports (1) movable rings (6) are inserted having hooks or clips. The ends of the rod (5) are concealed in the supports or remain outside them being fitted with end-pieces (7). Each of the supports (1) has a front and rear part, the front one carrying the rod (5) and including a head (3), and the rear one being a hollow arm (2) the front end of which enters a hole in head (3). The arm remains fully or partially concealed in the head, and the section of the part outside it is either permanent or alternating. Rod (5) and the holes of rings (6) have a complete or practically geometrically similar configuration, and the configurations of all the components of the ledge include at least one common shape-forming element being either a surface, or a 3-dimensional or planar angle forming the projection of the respective part in the profile.
