Method and multi-channel bio-sensor for multi-component analysis of mixtures

Multi-component analyses are carried out on mixtures and/or blends using /- 1 biological sensor element, which is at least partly non-selective to the substances in the mixture to be analysed, but which responds in a different way. The sensor(s) is brought into contact with the mixture and signals from the sensor elements are analysed over time and/or with respect to the individual sensor elements. The sensor elements contain cells and/or cell organelles which are preferably immobilised. The sensor elements preferably measures the oxygen consumption of the biological components using a Clark electrode. Also claimed is a multi-channel biosensor with an evaluation unit for carrying out the method.
