Gas burner with modulating solenoid valve

The burner has a nozzle plate in two or more parts forming combustion stages, together with Venturi tubes and combustion surface. A pipe (9) from the modulating valve (1) is connected directly to one of the nozzle plates (3). A branch pipe (10) from the first one and containing a solenoid valve (2) leads to a nozzle plate (4) forming the second combustion stage. Only the first valve can be a modulating one, the second one being opened and shut so that the first one acts on one or both stages. The igniter (6), flame monitor (7), heat exchanger and exhaust manifold for modulation can be used for one stage or the complete burner, and an exhaust fan can be included.
