Differential pressure reversing rod device

The reversing rod has a cavity which can be connected to a compressed air supply to divert a printed strip of material. There are air outlet apertures in the rod wall which can be opened and closed. Where there is a strip of material (16) above the apertures (7) in the rod (1), the counter-pressure building up under it acts with a movable opening and closing element (10) connected to the compressed air line (10) to open up an air input (6,9). The rod may consist of a jacket (2) and a body (4). The air outlet apertures are in the jacket.
