An user selects the number of songs, then a central control part(22) controls a pick-up(28) to reproduce the signal recorded in a CD(23). If the reproduced signal is an audio signal, it is converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter(46) and is output after being amplified by an amplifier(47). On the other hand, if the selected signal is an image audio signal, a decode part(33) receives the control signal of the central control part and separates the image and the audio signal, and stores it in a memory part(34). At the same time the separated audio signal is restored to the original audio data by an audio MPEG port(35) and stored in a SRAM(36).
