An apparatus for controlling a harmonic component in a loop antenna is disclosed. The apparatus for controlling the harmonic component in the loop antenna comprises: first and second trap condensers(C5, C4) for controlling second and third harmonic components in first and second points(a, b); inductances(L2, L3) corresponding to loop length between the first and second points(a, b) and a resonance condenser(C3); and first and second trap circuits composed by the capacitance of the first and second trap condensers(C5, C4). The apparatus for controlling the harmonic component in the loop antenna may be appiled to a security system and prevent the generation of unnecessary wave.
