The drive regulation system compares the detected drive slip for a first driven wheel with a threshold value to reduce the drive torque delivered to this wheel, with a corresponding increase in the drive torque delivered to at least one further driven wheel provided with a separate drive motor. The drive slip threshold values for the respective driven wheels are increased from initial minimal values to max. threshold values dependent on the depression of the accelerator pedal and the driving conditions, according to a linear function.
