This invention refers to a wireless calling and localization system for a local area by radio frequency electronic means. Wireless signals are generated by manually activated buttons, by sensors sensing smoke, broken glass, open doors or windows and bills theft, said signals being received by a radio receiver and transferred by a cable to a communication module wherein they are delivered to a processing central unit, which is coupled to a man-machine interphase, which subsequently transfers the signals already processed back, so a radio transceiver transmit them to localizers. This system stores statistical records of more than 15,000 events, communicates with a personal computer, activates up to six relay outputs and receives eight opto-coupled wired binary inputs. Its battery-operation makes it autonomous, thereby facilitating installation of calling buttons and sensors, movement of the person carrying localizers (within the covering area) and operation backup even during electrical power arrest. Due to its characteristics, it has application in malls, supermarkets, restaurants, hospitals and for bank, commercial and residential protection.
