The high speed searching method of a digital compact cassette user tape is provided, which identifies a marker with maintaining a searching mode so that high speed searching can be performed to satisfy digital compact cassette user in case of searching mode. The high speed searching method of a digital compact cassette user tape includes a first step of converting DAI, PASC, DDSP, DEQ deck part to a searching mode by inputting a jump target track during next search key input, a second step of measuring time for high level if high level is detected during next search mode in the first step and reducing a jump target track value if a side, where 16n(n=time for frame) second or 32n second is detected, is B side of a tape, and a third step of stopping the next searching mode if the jump target track value of the second step is 0.
