<p>The reaction of phosphorus pentachloride with ammonium chloride is conducted in the presence of a metal-containing catalyst and carbon dioxide, preferably supercritical carbon dioxide, as a solvent. The product is generally superior in catalytic action for the polycondensation and rearrangement of organosiloxanes to conventional linear phosphonitrilic chlorides.</p> |
