The head has at least one camshaft (9) to control an inlet valve (6) and at least one camshaft (10) to control an outlet valve (7). Several control levers (8,8') lie between the camshaft's cams and the valves. These levers differ. Either lever may be borne partly by an axle (11,11') and partly by a support, or may be borne entirely on one or the other.
