PURPOSE:To allow the use of the seamless belt as a base of body of an electrophotographic sensitive body by adopting the constitution consisting in immersing a jig having a smooth cylindrical inside surface in a conductive coating liquid, pulling up the jig, immersing this jig into a resin coating liquid and stripping the coating form the jig. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical jig 1 such as aluminum pipe having the smooth inside surface is first fixed to a pipe chucking device 2 and is immersed into the conductive coating liquid (resin soln. dispersed with a conductive material) 4 housed in a dip coating tank 3. The cylindrical jig 1 is then pulled up to form a conductive resin layer on the inside surface. A similar coating tank in which the resin coating liquid is housed is then used and the cylindrical jig 1 is immersed therein and is pulled up, by which an insulating base layer is formed on the conductive resin layer. The coating having the laminated structure formed on the inside surface of the cylindrical jig 1 is then stripped (for example, is peeled slowly from the end of the jig over the entire circumferential surface). |
