PURPOSE:To easily obtain the seamless belt for electrostatic recording having a good surface characteristic by adopting the constitution consisting in forming an insulating resin layer on the cylindrical inside surface of a jig, forming a conductive layer on the resin layer and stripping the coating from the jig. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical jig 1 such as aluminum pipe having the smooth inside surface is first fixed to a pipe chucking device 2 and is immersed into a resin soln. housed in a coating tank 3. The cylindrical jig 1 is then pulled up to form the insulating resin layer on the inside surface. A similar coating tank 3 in which a conductive coating liquid is housed is then used and the cylindrical jig 1 is immersed therein and is pulled up, by which the conductive layer is formed on the insulating resin layer. The coating having the laminated structure formed on the inside surface of the cylindrical jig 1 is stripped. The seamless belt for electrostatic recording having the smooth surface is easily obtd. by such constitution. |
