PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial marble exhibiting grain effect and useful for bathtub, etc., by mixing and dispersing a specific amount of small crushed pieces of colored polyester film having a specific thickness in an uncured liquid of a (semi) transparent unsaturated polyester, thereby enabling the uniform dispersion and mixing of the additives without causing precipitation. CONSTITUTION:The objective marble can be produced by dispersing (A) 5-15 pts.wt. of colored crushed pieces of a polyester film having a thickness of 5-20mum and a size of 0.5-5mm in (B) 100 pts.wt. of an uncured liquid of a (semi) transparent unsaturated polyester. |
