PURPOSE:To provide a desired dynamic property of a vehicle by limiting a feedback auxiliary steering amount to a value which becomes smaller as the vehicle speed becomes higher to sufficiently absorb the external turbulence from low speed to high speed. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle rear wheel steering angle controller for controlling the steering angle of rear wheels 7, 8 has a steering angle sensor 10, vehicle speed sensor 11 and yaw rate sensor 12 as input sensors and a digital calculation processor 13 as an electronic control circuit. A wheel actual steering angle adjusting means is constituted of a cylinder 6, oil pressure source 9 and rear wheel steering control valve 14. Said processor 13 is provided with a desired motion value calculating unit, steering angle calculation unit, auxiliary steering angle determining unit, limiter for specifying the auxiliary steering angle to a auxiliary steering angle limit value within a predetermined value according to the function of vehicle speed and desired value correcting unit for outputting a desired rear wheel steering angle correction value. A valve 14 is operated by a signal from said processor 13. |
