TIME DOMAIN ERROR COMPENSATION APPARATUS FOR DISC PLAYER

An apparatus for compensation a time base error of a disk player is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an error value variable controller(34) for setting a variable error compensation value based on a CBS(Color Burst Signal) error value which is generated by comparing the phase of the color burst signal passing from a band pass filter(28) and a standard CBS reference signal provided from a CBS reference signal generator(32); and an error compensation value setting unit(40) for setting an error compensation value of an initial oscillation frequency; and a frequency de-multiplier(42) for de-multiplying a variable oscillation frequency provided from the voltage control oscillator(36) to provide it to an analog/digital converter(16) in the image signal processing unit(7).
