A pitting resistant copper alloy pipe (I) contains Y (0.005-1 wt.%) and/or Zr (0.005-1 wt.%) balance Cu plus unavoidable impurities. The pitting resistant alloy pipe contains Y (0.03-0.3 wt.%) and/or Zr (0.02-0.3 wt.%), balance Cu plus unavoidable impurities. Another pitting resistant alloy copper pipe (II) contains Sn and/or Ag, the total amt. of which is 0.05-5 wt.% (pref. 0.2-2 wt.%) besides the above mentioned compsn. of (I). Another pitting resistant alloy copper pipe (III) contains Ti and/or R, the total content of which is 0.05-1 wt.% (pref. 0.03-0.3 wt.%) besides the above mentioned compsn. of (II), where R = a rear earth element but not Y. Another pitting resistant alloy copper pipe (IV) contains W (0.05-1 wt.%) (pref. 0.01-0.1 wt.%) besides the compsn. of (III). Another pitting resistant alloy copper pipe (V) contains P (0.005-0.5 wt.%, pref. 0.005-0.04 wt.%) besides the compsn. of (IV).
