The holder (1), designed to engage with the upper rims of a number of similar containers to hold them together, consists of a number of plastic rings (3), equal to the number of containers and made from a thermoplastic material such as polypropylene, with a resistance to traction of between 20 and 40 MPa. Each of the rings (3) has an upper inward-facing rim and a skirt with an inner rib which allows it to be clipped on to a container. It is made by injection moulding, with the rim and skirt having a thickness of between 0.4 and 1 mm. In addition, each ring has a section (34) of reduced thickness and a tongue (5) which enables the ring to be broken so that one of the containers can be removed.
