The electric motor comprises a rotor, a stator and two bearing shields which are braced together by fixing elements. The fixing elements are screws (7,8) made from an antimagnetic material. In one embodiment the fixing elements are made from brass. In a further embodiment the fixing elements are made of high grade steel.
