Disc drive insert especially for 'hot-replace' function

Proposed is a slide-in rack for a hard-disk drive with a "hot-replace" capability, the rack being designed to ensure continuous motion, accurate control of the disk drive during placement of the disk and all-round screening when inserted. Essentially, the rack has, at the front, ejectors (3, 4) which are inserted laterally into the front, behind the front a metal screening plate (2) and on the side walls contact bars (11) which can be contacted on the side from outside and have angled elements that can be connected in a electric conductive way to earthing surfaces on the hard-disk drive inside the rack.
