In a ferrite single-crystal growing equipment by Bridgman method, the raw material of ferrite is charged in a main crucible(10) and a auxiliary crucible(20), molten at a predetermined temperature by moving vertically and solidified slowly. The auxiliary crucible(20) has a platinum target(50) at the lower limit of the auxiliary tube(24) to immerse the platinum target(50) in the upper liquid phase in the main crucible(10).
