A device for securing the mutual positions of at least two separate juxtaposed building blocks (1a, 1b), e.g. pumice-stone building blocks, during the erection of a wall (12) of building blocks comprises at least one securing recess (10, 11a, 11b) in each building block (1a, 1b), and a securing member (13). The securing member is configured in such a manner that when two blocks are mounted in juxtaposed position in the vertical direction of the wall, said member projects simultaneously into the recesses of both blocks in such a manner that it fixes the space in between the building blocks in the vertical direction while at the same time it fixes the relative positions of said building blocks in the transverse direction of the wall while allowing relative movement of said blocks in the horizontal direction of the wall. |
