Vehicle autonomous traffic jam detection method

摘要

The detection method uses continuous monitoring of the vehicle velocity with assignment of the detected velocities to different velocity categories, subjected to an integration process, to indicate the traffic hold up level relative to a display scale. Pref. the detected velocities are assigned to the velocity categories via a fuzzy logic method, with different velocity limits for the different velocity categories in dependence on the type of road.
