发明名称 METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMICS HAVING LOW DIELECTRIC CONSTANT VALUE
摘要 FIELD: production of ceramics for use in making printed circuit boards, substrates, casings of integrated circuits and SHF-transistors, utensils for microwave ovens, etc. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for production of boron- silicate-based vitreous ceramics and comprises steps of hydrolysis of precursor components, jellifying reaction mixture, drying and calcination of product. Inventive novelty of proposed method resides in following features: hydrolysis of components is carried out in heterogeneous mixture, to which filler is added at final hydrolysis stage. Mixture is agitated for 7-10 min in propeller mixer, whereupon jellification accelerating agent is added. Gel thus-obtained is dried and calcinated at temperature that is by 100-150 C lower than sintering temperature of boron-silicate constituent. Method employs precursor components having low dielectric constant $$$ (quartz, quartz glass, cordierite, etc.) taken in amounts ranging from 5 to 90% by volume. As said jellification accelerating agents, method employs soluble salts of magnesium, calcium, barium, molybdenum and tungsten taken in amount from 0.03 to 5% by weight in terms of respective oxides. Ceramics thus- produced has dielectric constant $$$ = 4.2-4.5 and mechanical strength $$$ = 80-100 MPa, sintering being conducted at 60-130 C depending on filler content. EFFECT: increased specific yield of product; higher mechanical strength; broadened sintering temperature range; faster jellification rate; greater resistance of ceramics to abrasion by dispersed media.
