FIELD: hydraulic power engineering; driving generators and other mechanisms: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: free water turbine has drum-shaped runner whose working surface is made in the form of multiface prism and streamlined pontoons abutting against end sides of runner. Runner planes carry blades placed at certain angle to runner axis. Blades are simple in shape and easy to manufacture and to secure on runner plane due to their long base. Turbine pontoons function as runner cowls and facilitate turbine transportation to site of installation. Turbines are available of capacities from tens of watts to several kilowatts. A number of turbines may be act in tandem to form chain without interfering with waterways traffic. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, enlarged functional capabilities. |
