FIELD: chemical reagents in textile industry. SUBSTANCE: preparation contains mixture of 45.2- 66.5 wt % of imidazolidine-2-on of general formula $$$ where R is $$$, $$$ is OH, $$$, and H when R is CH(OH)CH+O and $$$; 1.1-7.2 wt % of diethylene glycol, and water, the balance. EFFECT: reduced crease retention and shrinkage of fabrics with insignificant concentration of residual formaldehyde on treated fabric.
