FIELD: electrode materials for production of potassium chlorate by electrochemical method. SUBSTANCE: application of glassy carbon in capacity of anode for production of $$$ compares favorably with analogous anodes. In the course of electrolysis surface of glassy carbon undergoes modification which makes it possible, on one side, to produce only one product $$$, and, on the other side, such modification leads to sharp decrease of wear of glassy carbon anode. Process is carried out with use of simple apparatuses needing no use of large assortment of materials and is characterized by high stability. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
