FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves growing sorts and hybrids of alfalfa possessing increased fodder and seed yield, unfavorable medium and disease resistance in the field with close sowing inoculated with increased activity rhizobium strains; selecting during flowering stage plants with well developed symbiotic mechanism; planting selected plants in vegetative pots with nitrogen-deficient soil; growing plants and mowing three times at initial flowering stage; discarding weak plants with low protein content; using remaining plants for hybridization. EFFECT: increased efficiency in producing high fodder and seed yield alfalfa plants with increased nitrogen-fixing capacity. 1 tbl |
