FIELD: fire-fighting equipment; applicable in fire protection of technological equipment of block-module objects, particular, units with gas-turbine drive, and also in oil and gas, chemical and other industries employing the fire-hazardous equipment with high vibration loads. SUBSTANCE: gas generator has body, service unit, block of solid aerosol-forming compound and diaphragm, retainer of aerosol-forming block made in form of flexible longitudinal members uniformly spaced over circumference. Longitudinal members contact body internal wall and have depressions rectangular in section and embracing the block. In this case, longitudinal members on one side thrust the bottom and on the other side, the diaphragm. Method for equipment of gas generator provides for placing of flexible longitudinal members uniformly over circumference on the block side surface, before introduction of the block into body and fastening them to one another. EFFECT: reduced probability of damage to the charge under unfavorable operating conditions and to improve reliability of design and process of its manufacture. |
