The connection has tow sections, a support (3) in the load bearing section (1) and a connection (4) attached to the secondary timbers (2). The timber sections can be connected at any angle, according to the angle at which the secondary timber is cut. The connection allows coplanar transverse assembly if required. The support (3) and connection (4) are buried inside the timbers with only their connecting parts visible. The support (3) is a pin which is glued or screwed into the load bearing section. At the top it has a clevis (5), one side is notched to the top, on the other side there is a drilled hole aligned with the notch. The connection (4) is a threaded rod (6) which passes through the drilled hole and is held in position by a nut.
