The lock has a bolt (125) which projects from the edge of the door in the locked position, and a spring-loaded locking member which moves perpendicular to the bolt to engage with teeth in the bolt shank (190). Additional security is provided at least one flexible plate (231, 232) on the inside of the lock housing which deform when the bolt is in the locked position to prevent it from being retracted. Each of the plates is in an E-shape, with two side fins and a central tongue, and the bolt has surfaces shaped to engage with them. |
