The device is essentially a photographic developing and processing arrangement (10) that includes, in addition to the picture or image producing circuit (100), a light source unit (12) for directing light onto the negative film (11) to produce single pictures. A control unit (13c) is used for controlling the film running unit (13) and a zoom lens (14) is used for enlarging the image on the negative film. The position of the zoom lens is set by a motor (14m) which is controlled by a zoom control unit (14c). A rotating filter (15) which is driven by a motor (15m), separates the colours of the image. The position of the rotating filter is detected by a sensor (16), and a filter control unit (15c) drives the filter motor.
