Air-tight and water-tight bar code carrier

The barcode carrier also carries text and/or numbers and/or graphics and is comprised of two water repellant layers of any suitable material. At least one of the layers is transparent. An intermediate layer of any opaque material acts as the data carrier e.g. paper or plastic. The water repellant material, of which one layer is transparent, encloses the data carrier. By this process the data carrier is sealed to be air-tight and water-tight. The sealing used is cold, chemical or heat sealing.
