Controls for mountain bike

The controls for the mountain bike comprise an electronic unit in a housing (4) common with the support housing for the hand brake lever (7). The housing is fitted to the handlebars with a conventional clamp (3). The gearchange is via an electric servo motor operated by the electronic control. The electronic display unit displays selected parameters, including the selected gear ratio. The display unit can be shaped to position the screen above or below the handlebar. The handlebar grip clamp also supports push button controls (8.9) for changing the gear ratio up and down.
