The component (1) has a transmitter profile, which at the outer circumference has alternating sections, with differing physical characteristics, especially conducting and non-conducting sections, which is connected rotationally proof with the shaft. The component is made of plastic and at least at the periphery is sectionally magnetisable. The component at least at the outer circumference is made of an electrically conducting plastic material. In addition it has a further teething or profiling (5) at least designed one piece to the transmitter profile (7). The metallising is formed in segments applied before the injection moulding.
