Prodn of a sieve for fibre pulp suspensions

To produce a sieve used for sorting fibre suspensions, such as in the papermaking industry, a number of rods (2) with the sorting slits (6) between them are fixed in place with their reinforcements (1). The reinforcements (1) have recesses (3) to hold the rods (2), with contact surfaces in the recesses (3) between them and the reinforcements (1) which are treated with a bonding agent (4). The bonding action is triggered by a liquid reaction agent (5), to give a firm bond through the bonding agent (4) at the contact surfaces between the rods (2) and the reinforcements (1).
