The invention relates to a method for continuous production of transdermal patches. In said method, a laminate comprising an auxiliary layer (3) which is siliconised on one side, a self-adhesive layer (4) containing the active ingredient, and a carrier layer (9) is provided in the form of a striplike band (1). The sections (4') containing the active ingredient and obtained by punching out the layers (3) and (4) at right angles to the direction of the band are transferred in stages to a second band (2). There is punching out during the resting stage between the stages and transfer to the second band (2) is carried out at preferably equal distances using transfer means (11, 12). The invention is characterised in that during transfer the carrier layer (9) is initially removed from the sections (4') containing the active ingredient and subsequently the sections (3') of the auxiliary layer are removed using a self-adhesive process layer (5).
